Haifa

Haifa is famous as the site of the Bahá'í World Centre with its fantastic gardens that attract thousands of visitors every day.  The Bahá'í site is not the only sacred destination in the city: there are also Carmelite monasteries, synagogues, and historic biblical places like the Cave of Elijah on the top of Mount Carmel.

The city is also an important seaport at the Mediterranean. The port also has a passenger terminal, a fishing wharf, a yacht club, and a sports marina. Besides the port, Haifa has a small airport serving domestic flights to Tel Aviv and some international flights to Greece, Cyprus, and Japan.

The gross of the oil industry of Israel is in Haifa, but the city also has important business and high-tech park, where established companies like Apple, Microsoft, and Google, have Israeli headquarters or business labs.

The cultural life of the city is diverse and thriving, with dozens of museums and art galleries available to knowledge-seekers. Some of the most important include the Israel National Museum of Science, Technology, and Space; the Haifa Museum of Art, and the Tikotin Museum of Japanese Art. There are also numerous cultural centers and venues for entertainment, including concert halls, cinemas, and the Haifa Cinematheque, which hosts the annual Haifa International Film Festival.

Fattal's Haifa hotel is located directly on the beachfront, ideal for lovers of sun and water, as Haifa has very good beaches suitable for sunbathing and swimming, but also for watersports like surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and para-sailing.
